The Help

Ok,no I haven't read the book, but I really want to! This post is about my own little kitchen helper!

I am a huge fan of freezer cooking, and after going on leave, our freezer was empty. I had to get to work on filling it back up. Julianna was so eager to help. :) First up,banana chocolate chip muffins! The girls love these for breakfast. I try to freeze a dozen at a time.

Granola balls, ready to go. These are a favorite at our house now. I just scoop them with my melon ball scoop and put them in the freezer so they can separate and then I stick them in my deviled egg dish. I also made peanut butter balls with raisins, granola and wheat germ, but they aren't pictured.

Sausage, egg and cheese muffins from McMom's Breakfast Sandwiches for the Freezer . I made 8 of these for Erik's breakfast. I did use mayo instead of butter, since he hates butter so much.

Butterscotch bars with a corn flake topping drizzled with honey. I ate way, way, way to many of these.

And,the good old pancakes ready to be cooked.

It was a busy day in the kitchen...

The cleaning up was the least fun part!
