A Monthly Update

Sorry if you already saw this once,I didn't mean for it to post until today!

It's been 4 weeks since Erik left (already,I know!),and we are doing fantastic. It has been a busy month for us,and I don't see it slowing down anytime soon.

Julianna has decided she wants to be called Jules. She told me the other day to start calling her that, and I've been trying to remember, but if I forget, she quickly reminds me! She is getting so big. I finally stopped putting her in pull-ups at night. I was a little worried since she sleeps 11 hours at night, and I don't go get her up,but she holds it just fine. That has to be from her father, who can go all day and pee once. I don't think I've ever made it a whole night without having to go LOL! Is that TMI? So sorry. She has really enjoyed going to the pool during the week, and always leaves with a few friends. The biggest news is that she will be starting school soon. WOW! I mean,it's preschool, but still. I have to get a physical done for her,and we will be doing that in a few weeks, then she should be ready to go! She'll be going 2 days a week, and it will be so nice for me to have that 1 on 1 time with Tillie. I think we are all excited for it!

Matilda,my little fattybutt is doing well, too. I can't believe she's 6 months old already. I've asked her to stop growing, repeatedly, but she's not listening. She really loves baby food, being held by mommy, riding around in the Ergo, and watching big sister run through the house like a crazed lunatic. Hey,when your 6 months old,it doesn't take much to entertain. She can roll, but doesn't seem to be interested in crawling yet (fine by me). She babbles non-stop,big surprise, and loves to be talked to! She is my little snugglebug, and I am loving that her hair is staying red. I think she might even end up with some curls.

I am also doing well. I stay super busy with my 2 girls, but it's a good, happy kind of busy. I really love being a stay at home mom. I think my daughters really need the stability that I provide, with daddy being gone. Although,we definitely don't "stay at home" very much! I am really striving to grow in my relationship with Jesus. He is doing some great things in my life, and I am really trying to walk with him more closely every day. We have a great support system of family and friends, and I can say I have not been lonely once since Erik left. I am so thankful for that! Now,if only I could focus a little harder on losing weight, things would be perfect LOL.

Thanks for reading our blog and keeping up with us! :)
